Online Marketing
There are so many opportunities to make money online, and an equal number of viable business models to do so. Unfortunately, the harsh reality is that most individuals who try, never succeed. This is really not their fault, or at least, not entirely their fault.
Many if not most of the people selling the internet lifestyle and their associated programs and courses, are very good at what they do – that is selling their programs and courses. They are powerful marketers who know how to tap into the emotions of prospects by using popular phrases like “Proven System”, “Set and Forget”, “Push Button Easy”, “Quit Your Job”, and many more.
They understand that their ideal prospects are those who are probably unhappy in their jobs, looking to make lots of money fast, and wish to do so with little to no work. They know how to hit the emotional hotspots and make these unassuming individuals pull out their credit cards and take immediate action.
Many of these programs promise very high returns, require a small fee to get started, and through the magic of upselling, gradually move the customer through a process where they invest thousands of dollars over time.
Do these programs deliver? I believe that most do, however, people who have a mindset where they want to make money fast with little or no effort, “Get Rich Quick” if you will, get frustrated easily and just quit until the next “Shiny Object” comes along.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against powerful, impactful marketing, which taps into the emotional needs of potential customers. I am a copywriter by trade and that’s how I still earn a great part of my living. I am, however, against deceptive and misleading marketing practices which make unreal promises which never come to fruition.
What Most People Want
I’ve come to recognize that most people who are looking to enter the online business world, are not necessarily looking to make huge money fast, without investing time, effort or money. They typically want one of three things:
- To start a side, part time online business to supplement current job income
- To start a side, part time online business to ultimate replace their job income
- To quit their job and create a full time online business
Additionally, these people do not have aspirations of earning millions and millions of dollars online, they do, however, want what is often termed “The Internet Lifestyle”. The opportunity to create one or more passive income streams which can be scaled upwards if they so desire.
It’s not the expensive cars, the extravagant homes, or the ostentatious lifestyle which drives them – it’s the FREEDOM of being their own boss and the ability to create income on demand. Income which in most cases will far surpass what they are earning in their 9-5 job.

100 Days To Your Online Business
I’ve created this challenge which I call “100 Days To Your Online Business”. If you commit to spending some time every day for the next hundred days, you will have an online business up and running. I can’t promise you that you will be generating huge amounts of income, or any income for that matter, however, I can tell you that you will have the skills to move your business forward and repeat the process as many times as you want.
I will be taking you through the process of setting up your online business from start to finish leaving no stone unturned. “100 Days To Your Online Business” is geared toward the beginner and intermediate marketer.
I’m sure many of you have been exposed to some aspects of internet marketing and have experienced a feeling of overwhelm. There is so much information, so many business models, and so many courses which explain one aspect but don’t present the entire picture. You may have many of the pieces but can’t seem to fit them together. My goal is to provide a step-by-step process that will take all of the pieces and put them together in an organized manner.
Even if you have some experience under your belt, I suggest you go through each of the 100 lessons and take the action steps at the end of each lesson. I ask that you bear with me as I go through some of the basics but assure you that I will get to some of the advanced strategies and techniques. If you wish to complete more than one lesson in one day, feel free to do so. This way you can move through the course at your own pace.
Who This Is For
If you are looking for a “Magic Easy Button” or “get “Rich Quick Scheme”, this is not for you. My goal is to help you build a viable long-term business that will generate passive income for years to come.
In order to do that, it takes commitment, an investment of time and a small amount of money, and effort. More importantly, you have to be able to learn and develop a new set of skills that will be with you for the rest of your life.
